Kids remain deprived of their childhood if they miss to enjoy childhood fun. To enable them enjoy Kite Festival (Utran), which fell on Jan 14, 2007, we distributed kites and strings among poor Muslim kids living in slum areas

 Muslims of Gujarat areas are very poor and have means of income. Muslim women are most disadvantaged. To enable them make some money we tech them sewing and art of Garment design. We already have three sewing centers. This fourth center is due to generosity of Janab Nazar Sayed of Everett USA. We run three-month course in three shifts and turn out 400 graduates a year. Once graduated, we help them buy sewing machine and setup business for them. These graduates make good money in India’s booming garment industry; their conditions are improving dramatically.

Inauguration Prayers

There is great hidden talent in Poor Muslim children which remains untapped because lack of opportunity. We run four sports teams: Cricket team, Soccer Team, Volleyball Team and a badminton team (for girls). We do not have our own ground but our Secretary Prof. Hasan is very influential person he manages to get play grounds belonging to other institutions for our teams. On 15^th December our Team participated in regional tournament. Freelandgunj is a planned town from British days for the employees of Railway engine manufacturing plant. It is located in Dahod. It has very good sports facility.

 The expenses of the present event were paid by my friend and our donor Zakir Gunja and the tournament was named after him.
